Welcome to the October & November edition of our Newsletter. I am still on a high after our great dance party! It may have been small in terms of numbers but it packed a punch with the talents on the dance floor! Well done to all the dancers that made the most of the great atmosphere and got up and danced! I would like to congratulate all the Student Team 3 for their knee slapping routine -Cowboys! You guys rocked and made me very proud. (P.S you will get better as a dancer the more you socially dance, so get out there and practise on the dance floor).
The highlight for month will definitely be our upcoming ‘Tropical Nights’ Boat Cruise! We have had so many requests to have another one...So here it is, YAY! Read on for all the details. And another great event happening in November...the Zouk Lambada Course’. We have got Angelo from GrooveBrazil back to teach us the beautiful style, Zouk. Don’t miss out, sign up today!
I would like to invite all the ladies to our ‘Ladies Only Pamper Night’ - X-Troop Fundraiser. Let us pamper you and in turn, help us raise funds for our Sydney Salsa Congress Trip. Invite your girlfriends and join us for a fun night of girly fun, auctions, demonstrations and pampering.
Lastly I would like to welcome all our new students to our dancefloors and hope you get to experience our upcoming events. And trust me when I say, classes along with Social dancing will get you dancing more confidently, faster!

Spring into Spring’– was a blast!:
A big ‘thank-you’ to all that attended our October 4th Dance party held at the Polish Club. The night was a success with so many great dancers cramming the floor and showing off all of their moves! A big congratulations to all the performers in the X-Troop, LX Funk Team and Student Team 3 for their entertaining routines...theywere HOT! Look out for our upcoming Boat Cruise to be held on Friday 7th November! See you there!
Latin X Tropical Night Boat Cruise:
It is back by popular demand...Yes, we are hosting another Latin Boat Cruise!
The Tropical theme cruise will be held on Friday 7th November from 7pm to 9:30pm playing Latin music, serving delicious finger food and offering a beautiful, relaxing time. The dancing will then continue on a Brisbane Square afterwards. Tickets are $45ea, limited to 60 so booking in NOW is essential! See you on the River!
Zouk Lambada Course:
Want to learn the beautiful Zouk Lambada? Well now you can! Angelo and Gaby from GrooveBrazil will be running a 4 week course to begin Wed 5th Nov.
The course will be running from 8:30pm to 9:30pm at the Logan Central studio.
Cost is $60ea for Latin X Members and $65 for Latin X Students (and $70ea for non Latin X Students, ie Not enrolled). Places are limited so book in today to ensure your place. Don’t miss out!

Congratulations Student Latin Team 3:
A big WELL DONE goes to all the dancers in the Student Latin Team 3. All of the dancers gave 100% to their training and performance. If you missed their entertaining performance, you can catch it again, with the X-Troop and LX Funk Team at the Garden City Shopping Centre on Saturday 15th Nov at 2pm. Well done to all the team!
Fundraiser Pamper Night:
Latin X X-Troop will be hosting a ‘Ladies Only Pamper Night’ at the Sherwood Studio onThursday 23rd October, from 7pm. All proceeds goes to the Latin X X-Troop getting to the Sydney Salsa Congress and performing in January.
Cost is $25ea and limited to 60 ladies. There will be 6 stations of pampering, displays, cooking demonstrations, auctions and fantastic give-aways! So get a girlfriend and book our ticket today!
